Rixia Tops Master Duel Challenger Cup EU on Branded Dracotail

European Master Duel competitors clashed in the 122-player Challenger Cup EU, where Rixia piloted a hybrid strategy anchored by Dracotail, Branded, and Sky Striker to take first place. The tournament format allowed participants to swap decklists between best-of-three rounds, but Rixia stuck heavily to a 43-card Branded package packed with modern engine pieces and hand traps to carve a path through a stacked single-elimination bracket. The finals came down to a decisive set against runner-up Bet mecha, who ran pure Dracotail.
Rixia's winning Branded build leaned on heavy disruption and recursive advantage. Running three copies of Fallen of Albaz, Aluber the Jester of Despia, and Branded in High Spirits alongside triple Mulcharmy Fuwalos and two Mulcharmy Purulia, the list maintained constant card flow through opposing boards. The Extra Deck backed this up with staples like Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon, Titaniklad the Ash Dragon, and Albion the Branded Dragon, while tech choices like The Fallen & The Virtuous and Forbidden Crown provided extra layers of interaction.
The rest of the top cut highlighted a diverse field. Semifinalist Abohmod doubled down on Dracotail, while Con broke into the Top 4 piloting Radiant Typhoon Zoodiac. Rounding out the Top 8 were snaxol on Kewl Tune Elfnote, Aiuola on Radiant Typhoon Zoodiac, Fireman representing Snake-Eye Yummy, and AsgoreK running Mimighoul Yummy. Dracotail commanded the highest conversions of the event, cementing its standing across high-level competitive rooms.
