Zoodiac Broadbull Freed in June 2026 Master Duel Banlist
A monumental shift has officially arrived on the digital ladder today, as the June 4, 2026 banlist update for Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is now live. After being locked away due to its overwhelming consistency, a legendary piece of the Zoodiac archetype is finally returning to competitive play, sending ripples of excitement through the community.
The headline change of this update is the unbanning of Zoodiac Broadbull, which officially moves from the Forbidden list to Limited. This iconic Xyz monster provides unmatched searching power, and its return is paired with another massive boost for the deck. Zoodiac Ratpier has been completely unrestricted, moving from Limited to Unlimited, which effectively restores the core combo lines that once defined the meta.
Beyond the competitive boosts to the Zoodiac strategy, the flexible combo extender Parallel eXceed is also moving from Semi-Limited to Unlimited. With three copies now legally available, Link-heavy decks will have an even easier time swarming the field and setting up devastating board states. Duelists should prepare to face an influx of Beast-Warrior strategies on the ranked ladder as this new format takes shape!
