Nijisanji Master Duel Fest Unleashes New Secret Packs

Konami dropped a massive surprise for digital duelists. Celebrating the fourth consecutive year of their partnership with the VTuber powerhouse agency Nijisanji, Master Duel launched a massive login campaign following the September 3 maintenance. Running until October 6, this event unlocks 24 different Secret Packs in the shop, handing everyone a free single pull from each of them. That's a cool two dozen free cards simply for logging into the client. The real highlight of the update is the simultaneous debut of four brand-new Secret Packs, finally making some of the game's newest and most contentious archetypes accessible without forcing us to bleed our crafting points dry.

Leading the charge is the new pack for the cybernetic Maliss archetype. If you have been grinding the ranked ladder, you already know how annoying banish-heavy Cyberse strategies can be. Pulling key UR cards like Maliss <Q> White Binder and main-deck searchers like Maliss <P> Dormouse is now significantly easier than burning through hard-earned UR dust. Joining them in the shop is a dedicated pack for the Yummy archetype, featuring synchro enablers like Cupsy☆Yummy and the extra deck powerhouse Cupsy☆Yummy Way. Love them or hate them, the dessert-themed beast strategy has been creeping into top-tier lists, and now you don't have to rely on blind luck in master packs to build your own engine.

Rounding out the new additions is the pack for the ritual-centric Mitsurugi strategy, offering players a direct route to grab crucial pieces like Mitsurugi no Mikoto, Saji and Ame no Habakiri no Mitsurugi. There is also a fresh pack for Magnet Warrior fans, providing a much-needed consolidation of old and new support. The collaborative festival itself kicks off on Japan's Silver Week from September 21 to September 23, featuring 24 streamers locked into specific archetype decks.
